California. Optu Russian River Valley Vodka is
distilled from Sonoma County Chardonnay Grapes. Clear. Honeycomb, nougat, and granola aromas follow through on a soft entry to a dryish medium body with meringue and golden raisin notes. Finishes with a clean, lightly spicy fade. Very smooth and flavorful.
“Clean as mineral water. Smells enticingly of ripe grapes, yellow fruits (guava, kiwi), and has no trace of TCA; aeration makes the bouquet turn more linear and focused on spirits and less fruity. Entry is medium-weighted, damn near succulent in its ambrosial aspect, and deep in earthy/soil-like character; midpalate is long, full, minerally, and grapy, but neither fat nor jammy, just nice and grapy.
